Thanks for the advice. I never set my phone to to 1970. I was asking about battery draining because opening the phone was so scary an idea, and thought it might void the warranty.

What about letting the battery run dry instead of taking it apart and disconnecting the battery? Wont that do the same thing w/o risking destroying your phone? In either case thanks for the warning. Ps Don't let anyone else touch your phone they may brick it as a prank.
